Gibson Exhaust Systems use mandrel-bent, 14-gauge tubing for improved exhaust flow. The Gibson difference is that our mufflers are quieter in the cab than other after market mufflers with more useable pulling power and torque by baffling and chambering our Super Flow muffler, (not packed or screened) we promote volume efficiency, plus the added thickness of the muffler case, and the thicker gauge tubing, all contribute to keeping the noise inside the system and releasing it at the tailpipe where you should hear it... not in the vehicle.
